Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sr. SAP Consultant HR (Human Resources) - Payroll to lead, design, and optimize SAP HR Payroll solutions for a global organization. The role combines in-depth SAP HR expertise with strong business-process understanding, enabling successful implementations, integrations, and ongoing production support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable HR/payroll capabilities, ensure data integrity, and drive process improvements that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end SAP HR Payroll implementations and global rollouts, including system design, configuration, testing, data conversion, and go-live support

Configure and optimize SAP HR Payroll modules (SD, PY, OM, PA, PT, Benefits) to meet business requirements and regulatory needs

Gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop functional designs

Manage system interfaces with time management, absence management, benefits, payroll interfaces, and third-party systems

Provide functional leadership in HR Payroll processes, including configuration of rules, schemas, functions, and wage types

Perform system audits, data quality checks, and cutover activities; support data migration and transformation efforts

Troubleshoot complex payroll issues, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and implement robust solutions

Develop and maintain functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials; mentor junior consultants

Support ongoing system enhancements, upgrades, and SAP HCM roadmap initiatives

Ensure compliant payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions, including tax and statutory requirements
Required Qualifications
9-12 years of experience in SAP HR/Payroll/HCM, with a strong track record of successful SAP HR Payroll implementations and production support
Preferred Qualifications

SAP HCM expertise with hands-on configuration in Payroll, Benefits, Time Management, and Personnel Administration

Experience with SAP S/4HANA HR modules and Payroll governance in global environments

Certification in SAP HCM (e.g., SAP HCM, SAP HR Payroll) or related certifications

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Project management experience or exposure to Agile methodologies

Multinational rollout experience and knowledge of local statutory payroll requirements

Education and Certifications
