Role: Handle financial administration for construction projects&mdash;collaborating with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate costing, timely payments, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll allocations, and job costing</li><li>Track project expenses by cost code; flag variances to protect margins</li><li>Process progress billings, retainage, and WIP reporting support</li><li>Verify subcontractor invoices, collect lien waivers, and manage payment compliance</li><li>Support month-end close, cash flow forecasting, and audit preparation</li><li>Maintain clean, up-to-date records in accounting systems</li></ul>Must-Have Requirements:<ul><li>2+ years accounting experience in construction, contracting, or project-based environments</li><li>Solid understanding of job costing, progress billing, retainage, and change orders</li><li>Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)</li><li>Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or equivalent practical experience</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong communication skills&mdash;able to explain financial insights to non-finance teams</li></ul>Work Location: In person
