 Compliance - The Compliance group is responsible for implementing and enforcing policies and procedures across multiple regulatory requirements, where you will be assisting front office trading desks by conducting thorough research on the firm&rsquo;s positions and applicable regulations for each asset class across jurisdictions through the deployment of advanced data analytics and data visualization techniques like statistical analysis, predictive modelling, clustering, etc. on tools like Power BI, and others. You will perform regulatory filing obligations, requiring complex quantitative and qualitative analysis of the firm&rsquo;s short position and long ownership reports across US, UK, EU, Japan, etc. jurisdictions, and in monitoring and implementing controls designed to ensure compliance with global regulations by deploying various data analytics and visualization techniques. You will be conducting thorough analysis on the fundamental research data collected by the trading groups through their interactions with external industry experts/consultants around various market sectors to avoid potential trading while in possession of material non-public information.  Pricing - The Pricing Team is a unit of DESCO&rsquo;s Finance and Operations Department and is responsible for the valuation of private investments and oversight of valuation of non-private investments performed by Arcesium LLC, an affiliate of the firm. The role also involves working closely with the various Front Office teams. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the accurate valuation of a wide range of financial instruments, including equity, bonds, asset backed securities, interest rate swaps, swaptions, and both exchange traded and over-the-counter derivatives. You will be primarily responsible for overseeing the daily mark-to-market processes, reconciling internal prices with external market data, and identifying and analyzing pricing discrepancies. You will also help develop pricing controls, implement logic to flag anomalies, and support the creation of tools and processes to ensure data integrity and fair valuation practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for building, updating, and maintaining the valuation models to value private equity and credit investments, which entails knowledge of investments, industry research and analysis of the company&rsquo;s portfolio fundamentals, and performing in-depth competitor analysis.  Expense Reporting &ndash; The team provides senior management with highquality analytical reports and detailed insights on firm-wide expenses. Core responsibilities include supporting the firm&rsquo;s monthly expense and time-allocation processes, contributing to the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, and partnering on technology initiatives to streamline, automate, and enhance key expense-related workflows. As part of the team, you will work closely with the Office of the COO, the CFO, and business unit heads to prepare comprehensive expense reporting packages, including analyses of actual versus budgeted spend, yearover-year expense trends, firm-wide budgets, and variance commentary that highlights key drivers and deviations. You will also own and manage ad-hoc expense-related analyses and requests from senior management and key stakeholders, including Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Tax, and Legal &amp; Compliance.  This individual will be responsible for conducting periodic KYC reviews/New Business Onboarding/Ad-hoc review for all MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities booking to EMEA region such as Dubai, Milan, Paris, London etc., these are primary Financial Institution, Banks, Corporates customers etc. (existing or new business relationships). The role will require to perform customer Due Diligence based on the required regulatory standards, including, Screening (Bribery, Corruption, Adverse Media &amp; Sanctions), Regulatory classification and other suitability assessments like risk and enhance due diligence based on scenario.
 
 
 The individual will work under MGS leadership to ensure effective and time bound due diligence is completed on cases within required SLA.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Roles and Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 Individual will be responsible to conduct Know Your Customer (&ldquo;KYC&rdquo;) Operations services including Customer Due Diligence (&ldquo;CDD&rdquo;) for New to Bank or Existing Clients based on standard operating procedures (&ldquo;SOP&rdquo;), Operating manuals (&ldquo;OM&rdquo;) as defined by the local, regional, and global FC Teams.
 
 
 These responsibilities include, but are not limited to providing support in conducting, the items listed below as per SOPs and may be amended from time to time:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Customer Due Diligence (&ldquo;CDD&rdquo;) and Enhanced Due Diligence (&ldquo;EDD&rdquo;) profile production for Head Office and other Global branches for various Client types - Financial institution/Bank/Correspondent Banks/NBFI are critical.
 </li>
 <li>
 Checking client information through publicly / internally available sources which ae sourced by analyst.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare &amp; check the KYC questionnaire, emails or calls with Client for outreach process
 </li>
 <li>
 Checking screening performed by analyst in accordance with Bank policy and escalate true hits to Adverse Findings
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete &amp; review CDD and EDD profiles to a pre-determined review schedule in a timely manner
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the business where changes occur to existing customer profiles, by taking appropriate actions (i.e., Event Driven Reviews, administrative triggers, escalations)
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete relevant Identification, Verification and Bribery/Corruption check for prospective transactions for existing or new to bank Clients to identify potential reputational, business, PEP (Politically Exposed person) , adverse media hits and Sanction risks etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise and connect directly with Clients, Sales, Relationship Manager, onshore teams and Local Account Officer within Client management and KYC teams and assist where appropriate.
 </li>

 Timely and proactive escalation and resolution of issues, working closely with local and regional management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive to build knowledge within the Anti-Money Laundering sector and to understand the rationale for underlying policy requirements.
 </li>

 Assist other members of the team and work on ad hoc projects where necessary

 Work Experience:

 Person should have a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in any stream, any certification/diploma in AML/KYC domain would be an added advantage.

 2 to 4 years&rsquo; experience in AML Compliance &amp; KYC preferably within the financial services industry with experience conducting EDD on foreign financial institutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience reviewing comprehensive documents like complex ownership structures and Wolfsberg Questionnaires, various organizational documents like MOA/AOA COI etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong working knowledge of AML/Sanctions laws and regulations relative to money laundering and terrorist financing and the ability to apply this knowledge in assessing transaction activity and customer profiles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to multi-task, adapt well to changing priorities, and effectively prioritize workflow to meet critical deadlines.
 </li>

 Critical thinking and problem-solving skills a must.
