In this pivotal role, you will act as a bridge between business and IT, translating business needs into effective BI solutions using a variety of analysis and reporting tools. You will work closely with key stakeholders to understand and leverage Landal&rsquo;s datasets, establish standards and templates, and promote best practices across the organization. 
 
Develop and maintain high-quality analytics data models, BI reports, and semantic layers that power data-driven decisions across Finance, Commerce, and Operations. The Analytics Engineer works hands-on in Databricks, DBT, and Power BI to translate raw data into reliable, well-documented assets contributing to our Customer 360 initiative, marketing attribution models, and cost-to-LTV analytics under the guidance of the Lead Analytics Engineer.
What will you do:
As a Analytics Engineer at Landal, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business and IT, helping our organization make data-informed decisions at both strategic and tactical levels.
In this role, you will:<div><ul><li>
Build and maintain DBT data models in Databricks, ensuring data quality, performance, and documentation standards are met.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>

As a Consultant &ndash; Smart Grid Operations, you will work at the intersection of Power Systems, Operational Technology (OT) and Digital Transformation. You will support leading grid operators in modernizing control room operations, implementing smart grid technologies and developing the digital capabilities needed to manage the increasingly complex power networks of the future.
Whether it's optimizing SCADA environments, improving flexibility management, enabling real-time operational insights or designing next-generation grid solutions, you will contribute directly to building a more sustainable and resilient energy system.
What You'll Do
Transform grid operations through digital innovation
Help transmission and distribution system operators modernize their operational environments and implement solutions that improve the reliability, efficiency and flexibility of electricity networks.
Deliver smart grid solutions
Work on projects involving technologies such as SCADA, control room systems, Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS), flexibility platforms, OT infrastructure and advanced monitoring solutions.
Bridge engineering and digital technology
Translate operational challenges into practical solutions by combining your knowledge of power systems, operational processes and digital technologies.
Enable data-driven decision making
Leverage operational and system data to generate insights, improve situational awareness and support critical operational decisions.
Drive the energy transition
Support grid operators in integrating renewable energy sources, managing congestion challenges and increasing network flexibility to meet future energy demands.

<div>HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED<ul><li>
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering or a related field.</li><li>
2+ years of experience in power systems, grid operations, smart grid technologies or the digitalization of grid operators.</li><li>
Understanding of electricity network operations and the challenges associated with energy transition and grid modernization.</li><li>
Interest in combining engineering knowledge with digital technologies and consulting.</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.</li><li>
Dutch language proficiency at B2 level or higher.</li><li>
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.</li></ul>
