As a Senior Financial Analyst within the Sotheby's Global Finance Team you will support the controllership function for Sotheby's Financial Services.</p>

The Senior Financial Analyst will prepare routine journal entries including processing of cash transactions, prepare bank and other balance sheet reconciliations, and contribute to the preparation of the balance sheet and P&amp;L monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. </b></h3><p></p><ul><li>Support and collaborate with teams to deliver stock optimization analysis, reporting and forward planning
</li><li>Support the CRM team and Store Director cascade actions and ensure the client data is collected and qualitative, providing solutions and mentorship where we fall short
</li><li>Develop a forecasting tool to assist in their accurate business planning for sales, stock and headcount/payroll projections
</li><li>Own relationships with vendors/suppliers and find opportunities to reduce costs and improve services
</li><li>Work alongside teams to drive efficiencies through identifying commercial solutions to organize stock; considering improving fetch times, logical stock room flows and the accurate storage of stock
</li><li>Implement the process and compliance of the recording of gifts received and given to/from clients
</li><li>Lead Health and Safety compliance in all stores in line with Company policies and procedure and Spain legislation
</li><li>Review product lines weekly and enhance the replenishment potential to drive sales and challenge Merchandising team to improve potential in the market.
</li><li>Examine all aspects of P&amp;L to reduce cost and increase store efficiency
</li><li>Work closely with Inventory Control &amp; Retail Excellence Operations Manager to keep up to date the negatives on hand reporting as well as weekly cycle counts and yearly inventory
</li><li>Responsible for the facilities in the store
</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications &amp; Skills:
</b></h2><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years' Retail experience, minimum of 3 years' managerial experience
</li><li>Software: Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes
</li><li>Great teammate, but able to work on own with high levels of motivation
</li><li>Knowledge of USA Retail Laws, security and Health and Safety Legislation
</li><li>Ability to lead and develop a team effectively and successfully
</li><li>Strong and demonstrable commercial competence
</li><li>A passion for customer service and sales floor focused
</li><li>Excellent at working and delivering under pressure with time restraints
</li><li>Able to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers and at all levels of the organization

</p><p>The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000-$100,000 annually . The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate&rsquo;s relevant skills and experience.
