 Our Service Desk Administrator provides front-line customer service desk support, responsible for responding to and resolving computer, printer, and network issues. Customers contact the Service desk in-person, by phone, using Remedy and/or by sending emails.  Primary support and interface with site Information Management Officers (IMO) to ensure all Service Desk resources are utilized in the most efficient manner.

 Assists the IMO with daily functions of computer, network and software management for the site and all users.

 Provides immediate response to all customers who come to the Service Desk Person-to-person interaction involves troubleshooting, information exchange and help with ticket submission and issues.

The core infrastructure technology duties include Enterprise Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), SCCM (MECM), WSUS, SQL, ADFS, MIM/FIM, DNS, OCSP, and PKI system security and policy configuration, PowerShell scripting, and top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives in a virtualized environment. Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provides Enterprise-level support for Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), and Windows File Services in an Enterprise environment for global initiatives.</li><li>
Performs problem Management and Root Cause Analysis for Corporate Identity Management in a large-scale Department of Defense setting.</li><li>
Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in the resolution of escalated issues and complex production, application, or system problems.</li><li>
Installs, configures, and maintains Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Enterprise tools, and third-party software.</li><li>
Coordinates and implement patch management, monthly Windows update deployments process to Servers and Workstations, Analyze SCCM / Intune log files, application packaging, and distribution, operating system deployment (OSD), custom reporting using SQL and creating WQL queries. Create desktop and server images utilizing technologies such as MDT.</li><li>
Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.</li><li>
Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.</li><li>
Ability to troubleshoot servers and infrastructure equipment, assess networking requirements and provide solutions, and make accurate and independent decisions under pressure.</li><li>
