The Opportunity
 
The Assistant Technician performs a variety of corrective and preventive maintenance and electrical activities to repair and maintain the AVDGS, Aipron, the GPU&rsquo;s and other systems at King Fahd International Airport. The Assistant Technician is also responsible for driving the airside vehicle and other equipment onsite.

<ul><li>Execute the work orders as given by the Maintenance Management and Engineers, including:
<ul><li>Airside work
<ul><li>Assist in the replacement of broken equipment either on an emergency basis (corrective maintenance) or according to schedule set by Supervisor (preventive maintenance)
</li><li>Participates to general custodial maintenance services to ensure acceptable appearance of A-VDGS, GPU&rsquo;so
</li></ul></li><li>Workshop work
 
<ul><li>Performs maintenance works in workshop either when in stand-by service or when under planned maintenance activities
</li><li>Disassembly, inspection, part replacement, reassembly and checks of equipment
</li></ul></li></ul></li><li>This position requires to work in shifts (morning/afternoon/night) according to the schedule defined by the Officers/Engineers.
</li><li>Participates to training sessions to maintain the highest level of competencies
</li><li>Performs general cleaning/maintenance tasks necessary to keep vehicles, equipment and tools in operable condition, which may include inspecting equipment, checking fluid levels, replacing fluids, greasing equipment, washing/cleaning equipment, or cleaning shop/work areas
</li><li>Exercises the necessary care and caution in handling and/or operating equipment (MEWP) and tools related to the performance of essential functions and follows airport specific safety policies/practices and adheres to responsibilities concerning safety, prevention, reporting and monitoring.
</li>Actively contribute to the achievement of SLA contract KPI&rsquo;s
