 As an Area Sales Manager you will oversee and drive sales operations within a specific geographic area. This role is crucial for driving sales growth, enhancing market presence, and ensuring the overall success of the company&rsquo;s sales initiatives in the designated area.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Things you will be doing as an Area Sales Manager
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market penetration
 </li>
 <li>
 Generate sales of company products in the area through a team of Territory Sales Managers to achieve or exceed the annual sales targets
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare &amp; present sales reports of performance metrics to senior management, suggesting improvements where necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to financial targets
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the sales budget effectively ensuring efficient allocation of resources
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network to ensure the comprehensive availability of company&rsquo;s products and services to achieve or exceed the sales targets
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, Distribution Partners, Trade Partners etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide distributors and customers with information about new or improved products and services to improve sales
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with Trade Marketing, Sales Operations and Sales Control functions to enhance sales effort
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead, train and motivate a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and goal achievement
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide guidance to TSMs / DSFs daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly in accordance with the formulated strategies
 </li>
 <li>
 Train and Develop TSMs and DSRs on sales operations, stake-holders Management &amp; Other Sales related soft skills (e.g Steps of Call, 7Cs of communication, etc.)
 </li>
