 Ensue that construction contractors adhere to the latest approved for construction (AFC) project drawings, specifications, procedures and site instructions.
 </li>

 Ensure by leadership and guidance that contracted works meets all practical, commercial, requirements of productivity, quality and contract target completions.

 Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction contractors. Maintain daily supervisory surveillance checks and records ensuring that contractor&rsquo;s management and supervision are providing safe working conditions and permitting procedures, all required competent personnel, protective equipment, adequate supervision and manpower, with reliable, well maintained equipment to execute the contracted works as per contract schedule and targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Routinely study, check and review all contractor scope as detailed in drawings, specifications and instructions, ensuring contractors proper interpretation and compliance with the lasted AFC drawings and specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure proper change control by issuing Field Instructions for all changes, reviewing Site Queries to ensure responses are appropriate and practical and reviewing Advanced Revision notices prior to issue to contractors to ensure correct use of construction resources.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure contractors dimensional control methods for checking that the works are properly set out and supervise specialist surveying contractors where necessary.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure Quality inspectors and contractor supervisors carry out the witness, inspection and surveillance checks in accordance with the WorleyParsons Quality Plan and the requirements of the Quality Control Manager.
 </li>

 Ensure that contractors are working in the required work areas, locations and elevations and that work sequence and interfaces with other contractors are both coordinated and planned to provide continuous working to meet contract schedules.

 Ensure that all construction materials, embedded items, special fixtures are approved for use and that they are stored, protected and available to workface locations as required.
 </li>

 Promote and maintain WorleyParsons, Customer and contractor best practice working relationships.

Lead Design Engineer I - Process Safety (Principal Safety Engineer)

Primary Objective
<ul><li>Ensure process design integrity while leading the process engineering group on specific projects.
</li><li>Responsible for the progress and quality of assigned tasks within the process area, including the supervision of engineers and design teams.
</li><li>To ensure all work carried out conforms with agreed codes and practices, meets all requirements of the contracts specification and ensure all work is carried out within agreed schedules, budgets and procedures.
</li></ul>What You Will Do
<ul><li>Ensure work is carried out competently and effectively, within time and budget constraints, and that project objectives are met.
</li><li>Provide overall supervision of prcoess engineers, designers, and technical personnel during project execution.
</li><li>Ensure the integrity of the work scope and that all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
</li><li>Manage project discipline resource requirements.
</li><li>Design Estimates and production and checking of design documents and drawings.
</li><li>Prepare process discipline cost, schedule, and resource estimates for assigned projects.
</li><li>Management, technical execution and completion of engineering assigned tasks.
</li><li>Assisting the project engineers in the co-ordination and preparation of input into the contract documents for the discipline area, including design criteria, scope of work, procedures and design approach.
</li></ul>What You Will Bring
<ul><li>Production and approval of PFDs, EFDs, MSDs, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Data Sheets, calculations and system modelling and simulation.
</li><li>Working to and using the company management systems.
</li><li>Ensuring compliance to company, client, local and international standards as given in the project PEP etc.
</li><li>Quality Assurance &ndash; Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc.
</li><li>Safety &ndash; Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&amp;S procedures.
</li><li>Experience working in a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) environment.
</li><li>Demonstrated experience working in the Middle East project environment.
</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience
<ul><li>Full-time Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
</li><li>Minimum 15 years of total experience post graduate studies
</li><li>Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil &amp; gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry
</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Design Engineer or equivalent
</li><li>Previous experience working with a contractor or in a comparable delivery model
