 Primary Objective
 
 
 
 Development and Management of construction and completions capability across PMC projects ensuring that design integrity is not compromised while managing the department in the execution of the process. Managing and executing the Projects according to the Field Contract.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Promote and drive the involvement of Construction in areas of technical design, schedule, preliminary execution planning, and cost estimating.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain a familiarity and appreciation of capability and ongoing workload of Construction&rsquo;s support providers / contractors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain functional responsibility for all construction and completions personnel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical competence of construction personnel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Forecast requirement for construction engineering resources and allocate those resources.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare man hour estimates to perform project tasks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare weekly progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in engineering and experience in oil and gas major projects in a Lead role.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Post Graduation Experience.
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Familiar with Management of Heavy lifting equipment and large Earth moving activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated experience of working in the Oil &amp; Gas industry -Must have proven track record in leading a team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Pre-commissioning and Commissioning and Performance Testing experience.
 
 
 </li>

 Experienced in the specification, evaluation and documentation of equipment.
 </li>

 Job Description

 Monitor, supervise, and ensure compliance with the construction and other related contracts of the project and advice to the Project Management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and handle all contractual correspondence and other legal documents related to the Project execution and the construction contract.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance to contractual obligations towards the Client during project execution and reports to the Management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and identify all contractual and law related matters occurring at project level and refers same to the Project Management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare specific Contracts and other legal documents with Third Parties based on standard templates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review proposals from suppliers/subcontractors and prepare routine responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications from contractual point of view.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyzes and manages business conflicts between the company and the Client or any Third Party and submits proposals to Project Management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare or comment on the minutes of meeting of Progress Meetings with the Client and/or JV/Consortium Partners.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain project contractual records and files (ex. Correspondence, submitted and received Claims, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 In coordination with the Project Controls Manager collect and advance to the regional level all critical input related to specific litigation or arbitration (initiated or threatened) or related to extrajudicial settlements and further liaises and coordinates for the handling of the matter.
 </li>

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering or in law, (LLM, ACIARB, MSC,
 </li>
 <li>
 etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience in similar position with an EPC Contractor preferably on large infrastructure projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent command (written and verbal) of the English language and Arabic will be beneficial.
 </li>
