 Specific Accountabilities

 Monitor the EPC contractor HSE Management System and provide advice and assistance to EPC HSE managers so they comply in a consistent way to reduce the risk to the project employees and the environment.

 Ensure the EPC contractors develop implement and maintain a specific project Risk Management Plan.

 <li>
 Ensure EPC contractor subcontractor selection (ITB) processes are developed and implemented on a timely basis in accordance with KOC expectations.

 Provide advice and guidance to the EPC contractor management team on HSE issues through the interpretation of KOC policies and statutory requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure EPC contractors establish and maintain statistical data concerning all matters of health and safety, training programs with which to provide a basis for development of further health and safety activities, to highlight trends for future action.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor compliance with all Kuwait legislative requirements including the dissemination of information to PMC and EPC managers and employees regarding amendments/ additions to requirements as they come into effect.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review EPC contractor Safety Management System and advise of required changes. Develop and maintain professional relationships with KOC, regulatory bodies and EPC contractor to foster the professional image of WorleyParsons.
 </li>
 <li>
 Visit the project site on a regular basis to ensure interest and awareness of HSE is maintained, conduct regular safety talks and safety training sessions relative to the nature of activities being undertaken.
 </li>
 <li>
 Other key activities shall include but not be limited to the following:
 </li>
 <li>
 Pro-actively visit site and with the EPC contractor implement safety measures- promote/ensure safe work practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure quality safety observation program is implemented and maintained on each site/project and ensure follow up on findings.
 </li>

 Assist EPC contractor construction management personnel in identifying hazards and in planning and organizing the work such that a safe working environment is maintained.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist EPC sub-contractor Safety advisors and site management in the development and revision of specific site safety programmers.
 </li>

 Maintain a HS&amp;E audit and assessment program for the location.
 </li>
 <li>
 Carry out regular inspections of the work areas with the respective EPC contractor line manager and or HSE representative and prepare reports.

 Disseminate safety information throughout the workplace via bulletin boards, posters, newsletters etc.

 Assist EPC contractor line management and or construction supervisors in accident investigation process and report accordingly.

 Develop and implement safety initiatives to continually improve, achieve and maintain stated safety performance and objectives.

 Ensure HSE safety inductions are undertaken in accordance with the EPC contractor SMS requirements for all new employees of the company and its subcontractors

 Monitor the availability and use of safety apparel and equipment.

 Provide advice to the EPC subcontractor supervision on the development of project specific procedures and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) training,

 The Well Engineer is responsible for ensuring well engineering and operations support for one or more rigs or well sites. They are tasked with developing and delivering optimized technical well designs for areas of responsibility, including preparation of Well Proposals, Basis of Designs, Well Programs(i.e., Drilling, Completion, Workover), project budgets, and End of Well Reports. They perform Assistant Well Site Leader duties according to the Well Engineer Training Program development requirements.  Required Qualifications:

 Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Petroleum Engineering.

 Experience of 8+years of drilling equipment maintenance and BOP maintenance experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 5 years in a maintenance leadership or management role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive experience supporting deep drilling land rigs (3000HP, HPHT and high-capacity drilling operations).
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated success leading maintenance teams in multicultural Middle East operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong working knowledge of international drilling standards and OEM maintenance practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent understanding of well control equipment reliability and operational risk management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to minimize downtime while maintaining the highest safety standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication skills in English.
 </li>
 <li>
 Current well control certification (e.g., IWCF or IADC WellSharp).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of OEM BOP systems and control equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
 </li>
 <li>

 Primary Objective

 Should have experience in environmental issues in design, construction or operation of landfill installations, including handling permits for plants, utilities, water treatment, wastewater treatment, petrochemicals, oilfield production and related hazardous disposals.

 Shall be capable of assisting / preparing Environmental Impact Assessment, conceptual site Modelling, Environmental Control for projects and ensure compliance during all stages of the Project.

 Specific Accountabilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Project management and coordination of remediation programs, including the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets and coordination of junior staff.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for the successful execution of remediation programs including remedial design/implementation, excavation supervision and confirmatory sampling.
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparation and presentation to clients of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications including cost estimates and budgets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Regular communication with clients through verbal and written correspondence which may include presentations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interpretation of environmental regulations and investigation results to successfully meet the clients requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communication with regulators and stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervision, training and mentoring of junior employees.
 </li>
 <li>
 Quality assurance &ndash; responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the quality assurance system relevant to the Contaminated Sites Group;

 Should be familiar with the necessary engineering and organisational controls required to prevent damage to the environment.

 <li>
