 As an Indirect Tax Advisor, you will have the unique opportunity to work in Bangkok for Agoda Services Co. Ltd, reporting to the Indirect Tax Senior Manager of Agoda. You will be part of a broader tax advisory team that is rapidly growing in light of the changing tax landscape for digital services. While being part of the broader Tax and Finance team, you will also work closely with the Product and Legal teams.
 
 
 The focus of this position is to manage all tax advisory matters related to VAT, sales tax, GST and other indirect taxes for Agoda, including the compliance with tax regulations across the globe. You will have end-to-end responsibility for your own projects from scoping the challenge (incl. budgeting) to the overall solution (execution and implementation), including stakeholder management and relationships with our tax advisors. While this role remains very hands-on, you will also be expected to contribute to the long-term vision of the tax team and to share your tax technical expertise with the broader team to support their growth.
 
 
 This role involves interaction with our Senior Leadership Team, US parent company, international offices, business managers, functional teams, IT and other finance and legal colleagues. Due to rapid growth of the organization, the tasks and duties of this role may also evolve over time.  Key Role And Responsibilities

 Assessment of indirect tax position and interpretation of our business models

 Define indirect tax requirements for existing and new programs/products, make relevant key decisions and ensure practical implementation of these requirements in internal systems

 Research and keep abreast of global indirect tax developments, evaluate and decide on necessary business and process changes, develop and execute plans accordingly to ensure compliance with new tax rules and regulations

 Minimum Qualifications Required:

 Bachelors or Master&rsquo;s degree in Tax Economics/Law, Accounting, Finance or any business/similar related field. Graduate degree in taxation is an additional asset

 Minimum 9 years of indirect tax experience in a multinational tax environment, Big 4 / Top law firm / major corporation experience, in-house experience is a plus

 <li>
 Solid technical knowledge of indirect taxes (VAT/GST) in a global environment is a must. Previous experience in APAC, EU or US regions is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Detail-oriented individual who independently leads medium/high complexity projects with global impact (cross-functional) driving them through execution, analysis, recommendation and implementation

 Project management expertise, including strong organizational and change management skills

 Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end CLM implementation projects, including facilitating client workshops, conducting stakeholder interviews, process mapping, solution designing, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

 Experience with system integrations within CLM platforms (e.g., SSO, eSignature, ServiceNow, Salesforce)

 As a Consultant in Deloitte&rsquo;s Legal Business Services function, you will be a part of a team that provides an integrated approach to technology implementations, automation, data wrangling and document extraction and data management and analytics that help legal departments maximize the strategic value to the organization.  As a Legal Business Consultant, you will contribute to the growth and success of Deloitte Tax LLP in a variety of ways, including:

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 Required:
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Law, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 2+ years of experience in CLM platform implementation, business process consulting, or technology advisory, with hands-on exposure to one or more leading CLM solutions (e.g., Icertis, DocuSign, Ironclad, SirionLabs, Conga, Agiloft, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Trained and certified on Sirion Platform (Sirion L1, L2, L3 trained &amp; Certified, Sirion Certified CLM Specialist), At least 1-2 years of Sirion implementation experience for Global organizations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design for contract lifecycle management or legal operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to perform CLM system configuration, creating test scripts, testing, and deployment activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience implementing and driving value from advanced AI modules, including agentic and autonomous capabilities, within major CLM platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record in facilitating client workshops, conducting stakeholder interviews, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex business challenges and recommend actionable solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting setting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week in respective office locations.

 Willingness to travel for client engagements as required.

 Experience supporting legal teams or procurement teams with contract management.

 Join the team as a member of the finance shared services team (USI) in India supporting the finance team. The candidate will provide administrative billing support in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations.
 
 
 
 Work you&rsquo;ll do

 Process client invoices and ensure they are 95% accurate with 100% TAT. Complete in accordance with business /customer/legal laws, policies, procedures and contractual requirements.

 Creation of invoices while the requests are received via Workflow.

 Bring to the solution of requests to the Supervisor which do not comply with the firm&rsquo;s policy.

 Identify tax issues related to invoicing and ensure these tax rules are consistently followed.

 Update billing system and customer files with issued invoices.
