The Entertainment Lead (Design) provides strategic leadership for AECOM&rsquo;s Entertainment sector across the Middle East within the Buildings &amp; Places business line. Overview <p><b>Vice President - Design G</b> role at <b>ALDAR</b>. Responsible for leading vertical and mixed use design activities across all projects under construction, ensuring adherence to standards and cost effectiveness. This role will be responsible for leading and managing the design of civil infrastructure works across medium to large scale development projects in Middle East. This includes managing multidisciplinary design teams, coordinating with stakeholders and authorities, and ensuring timely delivery of design packages.</p><br>

Project Director involves in leading the overall delivery and management of the project on behalf of the client, from design through construction, testing, and commissioning. The Project Director oversees multidisciplinary teams, manages contractors and consultants, ensures compliance with contract terms, and monitors progress against schedule, cost, and quality objectives. Acting as the main point of contact for the client and key stakeholders, the Project Director is responsible for risk management, value engineering, and resolving complex issues to guarantee the safe, timely, and successful completion of the railway project in accordance with client requirements and industry best practices</div>
Missions/Main Duties:
<ul><li>Managing large, complex infrastructure projects</li><li>
Demonstrating thorough knowledge of design, production and construction techniques, procedures, codes, and standards</li><li>
Overseeing and guiding contractors through the design process including conducting design reviews for completeness and constructability monitoring and verifying progress and timely submissions at all design phases.</li><li>
Advising clients on all matters pertaining to cost, scope and schedule.</li><li>
Providing value engineering proposals</li><li>
Developing and maintaining the risk management plan</li><li>
Managing contract administration, including reviewing, interpreting, and enforcing contract conditions, handling claims, changes, and dispute resolution.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills along with the ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships in English and Arabic</li><li>
Exhibiting strong project management experience gained at a leading project management consultancy.</li></ul>
Profile/Skills:
<ul><li>Technical / engineering related university degree, preferably a Master's Degre</li><li>
Not less than Twenty (20) years&rsquo; experience in Railway Projects with a minimum of fifteen (15) years&rsquo; of Contract Management, Design and Construction Supervision experience in Rail Projects</li><li>
Freight railway experience preferred
</li><li>Demonstrated experience in managing Design &amp; Build Contractors and sub- contractors of various tiers, as well as third-parties on projects of similar size and complexity
</li><li>Excellent English language, verbal, reading and writing skills
</li><li>Strong problem identification, problem anticipation and problem resolution skills</li><li>
GCC experience preferred.</li></ul><br>
