Our Production &amp; Sourcing teams source the raw materials that go into all of our brand products. Materials are sourced from around the world, and we manage production in factories in the U.S. and across the Far East.
The Director, Product Development is an experienced leader responsible for leading a product development team for assigned category or categories. They partner with design, raw materials, technical design and production to develop and execute product consistent with design&rsquo;s vision and the Brand&rsquo;s global sourcing strategy. The Director leads the development and execution of products from concept to a pass off to production, with a focus on on-time, quality, products at the right cost, with the required speed and flexibility in support of the brand strategy. This role requires a high level of influence with global cross functional partners and owns the costing process, including negotiation and management of costs. Position Summary: 

We are in search of a Women &amp; Kids' Designer who understands the pulse of luxury streetwear and contemporary fashion and has the expertise to transform ideas into realities. This position will collaborate with the Creative Director each season to develop and execute creative vision. The role will collaborate cross-functionally across all stages of the product creation process, contributing to seasonal narrative development and leading brand, product, and innovation storytelling. Job Responsibilities:

<li>Translate the Purple aesthetic into commercially relevant and market-appropriate designs</li>

<li>Delegate and manage responsibilities effectively among direct reports</li>
<li>Design across multiple product categories, including outwear, wovens, cut &amp; sew knits, knits sweaters, and accessories</li>

<li>Utilize strong Illustrator skills to quickly and accurately produce design sketches</li>
<li>Develop comprehensive tech packs with construction details, fabric information, and trim specifications</li>
