<div>Are you interested in a rewarding summer job? We are hiring in-person Educational Clinicians / Tutors to work at our Lindamood-Bell Learning Center in Los Angeles, CA. This position is ideal for individuals interested in education, teaching, literacy, child development, tutoring, or academic support, and who are passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. Join us this summer as we teach students of all ages to read and comprehend to their potential!
No prior teaching experience is required! Lindamood-Bell provides paid training, instructional materials, and all necessary equipment. We welcome qualified candidates from a variety of backgrounds for this entry-level position. This is an on-site, in-person role and is not eligible for remote work. 

What You&rsquo;ll Do as a Summer Educational Clinician / Tutor:

<li>Provide one-to-one and small-group instruction to in-person and online students of various ages.</li>
<li>Record notes about student performance while delivering engaging, structured lesson plans under the direction of Learning Center leadership.</li>
<li>Implement positive reinforcement strategies that maximize learning.</li>
<li>Facilitate the use of the curriculum provided for Lindamood-Bell Academy students.</li>
<li>Communicate positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment.</li>
<li>Manage client records, both handwritten and electronic.</li>

Position &amp; Schedule Details:

<li>Educational Clinician / Tutor work is performed on-site at the Lindamood-Bell&reg; Learning Center in Los Angeles, CA.</li>
<li>Available positions are seasonal, beginning in May.</li>
<li>Monday through Friday availability is required.</li>
<li>Learning Center hours of operation: 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM</li>
<li>Scheduling changes may be made based on the needs of the Learning Center.</li>
<li>Paid training generally occurs Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, for two weeks.</li>
<li>Post-training hours may vary week to week according to the scheduling needs of the Learning Center.</li>
