We are hiring an Experienced Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst with at least 1 year of experience to manage, optimize, and troubleshoot EDI processes for our medical billing platform. Ideal candidates should have a strong foundation in EDI transactions, healthcare data exchange, and system integrations.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage the setup, configuration, and maintenance of EDI systems for medical billing data exchange.</li><li>Monitor, validate, and troubleshoot inbound and outbound EDI transactions to ensure seamless data transmission.</li><li>Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA, handling transactions like 837, 835, 270/271.</li><li>Work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve EDI-related issues and improve data accuracy.</li><li>Maintain and update EDI documentation, including mapping guides, configuration files, and transaction logs.</li><li>Analyze EDI data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity.</li><li>Assist in creating reports to track system performance and data accuracy.</li><li>Stay updated on EDI industry standards, protocols, and healthcare data exchange trends.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in EDI processes, healthcare data exchange, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.</li><li>Strong understanding of EDI standards and formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HL7).</li><li>Experience with EDI software/tools (IBM Sterling, Gentran, or similar platforms).</li><li>Knowledge of healthcare data standards (HIPAA, 837, 835, 270/271).</li><li>Experience in working with cross-functional teams and external partners.</li><li>Basic proficiency with SQL or other database querying languages for data validation.</li></ul>Nice to Have:<ul><li>Experience with EDI mapping and integration with backend systems.</li><li>Knowledge of healthcare billing processes and codes (CPT, ICD, etc.).</li><li>Experience working with FTP, SFTP, AS2, or other file transfer protocols.</li><li>Understanding of XML, JSON, or other data interchange formats.</li><li>Familiarity with EDI communication protocols (AS2, VANs).</li></ul>What You'll Gain:<ul><li>Annual performance appraisal with salary increments, paid leaves, and medical benefit.</li><li>Monthly team lunches, dinners, and an annual company trip with team-building activities</li><li>Hands-on experience in EDI analysis and healthcare data exchange in a specialized medical billing environment.</li><li>Collaboration with senior engineers in a supportive, growth-focused environment.</li></ul>Send your CV hr@simplexmed.com m.rafique@simplexmed.comIf you're ready to advance your EDI Carrer in a growing healthcare technology company, apply now!Job Types: Full-time, Contract Contract length: 24 monthsWork Location: On the road
