<li>To formalize and maintain the system specifications (operational, functional, and constructional), application rules, and supporting processes descriptions and their associated verification, validation and assessments.</li>
<li>MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
</li><li>Mission and Deliverables
<ul><li>Member of the project/program engineering team</li>
 <li>Applies processes, methods and tools as referenced by the project/program plans</li>
<li>In collaboration with the System Architect and under the control of the Program Development Manager/Project Engineering Manager/System Deployment &amp; Integration Manager he contributes to the system/product design (including refinement of HW and SW components identified in the system architecture) and specification according to the development strategy established in the System Engineering Management Plan</li>
<li>For the system design (s)he:
<ul><li>Analyzes, clarifies and confirms input requirements and needs</li>
<li>Performs conceptual design by preparing system models, design studies, design rationales, design principles, real time analysis, modelling &amp; mock-ups, etc. for technical de-risking and optimization</li>
<li>Solves Interfaces</li>
<li>Partners with and provides technical support to RAM, safety, cybersecurity, sub-system, software, hardware and V&amp;V teams to develop design concepts and definitions</li>
<li>Calls, conducts and participates to technical reviews (design reviews, document reviews) to analyze technical issues, including consultation to end-users, experts and core competency networks according to specific needs and domains competencies relevance</li>
</ul></li><li>For the system specification (system formalization) (s)he:
 <ul><li>Elaborates formal modelling and requirements writing according to design standard and guidelines</li>
 <li>Formalizes and maintains the system specification (OCD, RS, AD, ID, PD) according to applicable templates content</li>
 <li>Partners with RAM, safety, cybersecurity, sub-system, software, hardware and V&amp;V of the project/program to ensure specifications completeness and acceptance</li>
 <li>Coordinates with project/program team members to implement design and work through design revisions</li>
 <li>Ensures traceability through-out the formal documentation, up to the input needs (input specifications, CR)</li>
 <li>Ensures verifications (document reviews, peer reviews) of system specifications</li>
 <li>Puts work products under configuration management</li>
 <li>On request, supports the System Application Architect for projects and tenders (evolutions &amp; anomalies analysis, documentation support)</li>
</ul></li><li>Prepares the project/program documents (e.g. training material, user manuals, &hellip;) (s)he is in charge of</li>
<li>Participates to the material selection and procurement activities as required for the system delivery</li>
<li>Sustains the system according to Change Requests (evolutions and anomalies)</li>
<li>Keeps informed of the evolution of technologies through technological watch</li>
<li>Contributes to continuous improvement (REX: Return of EXperience, process, &hellip;)</li>
<li>Contributes to workload estimations for the deliverables within scope</li>
<li>Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.</li>

<ul><li>Ability to work transversally with Engineering teams
<ul><li>Design for safety and cybersecurity (when required) and RAM compliance</li>
<li>Requirement management &amp; writing (DOORS)</li>
<li>Concept Generation</li>
<li>System Architecting &amp; System Interfaces</li>
</ul></li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical, Electronical and Control Engineering</li>
<li>At least 5 years of successful experience in Engineering / Technical functions in railway projects</li>
<li>Knowledge of railway systems and signalling rules, available equipment and systems, especially for the railway signalling</li>
<li>Good knowledge of AutoCAD</li>
<li>Experience in electrical diagram design such as scheme plan, cable plan, wiring diagram, cabinet configuration etc.</li>
<li>Fluent of English</li>
<li>Very good interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Self-motivated for technical matters and speed learning</li>
<li>Team player</li>
<li>Position Based in Istanbul</li>
<li>No restrictions to travel</li>
