This role requires strong knowledge of the UAE construction market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the end-to-end tendering process for subcontract and trade packages.</li><li>Develop procurement strategies and identify subcontracting requirements in coordination with Estimation, Planning, Cost Control, and Project Management teams.</li><li>Prepare comprehensive tender packages, including drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, addenda, and contract conditions.</li><li>Source, prequalify, and manage subcontractors to ensure competitive and compliant bids.</li><li>Conduct detailed technical and commercial evaluations of subcontractor proposals.</li><li>Lead commercial negotiations to achieve the best value while maintaining quality and project requirements.</li><li>Prepare bid comparison reports and procurement recommendations for management approval.</li><li>Coordinate with the Cost Control Department to verify budget compliance and secure procurement approvals.</li><li>Prepare and administer Letters of Intent, Subcontract Agreements, and related contractual documentation.</li><li>Coordinate subcontractor prequalification, material submittals, compliance documentation, and consultant/client approvals.</li><li>Monitor awarded subcontracts, ensuring timely execution, documentation, and resolution of outstanding issues.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, cost savings, and risk management.</li><li>Mentor junior procurement engineers and provide technical guidance where required.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.</li><li>Professional procurement certification (CIPS or equivalent) is an advantage.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum 7&ndash;10 years of procurement experience in the UAE construction industry.</li><li>Proven experience managing subcontract procurement for large-scale building projects.</li><li>Strong knowledge of subcontract tendering, contract administration, and the UAE subcontractor market.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong technical and commercial evaluation skills.</li><li>Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.</li><li>Sound understanding of construction contracts, trade packages, and procurement best practices.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple procurement packages within demanding project schedules.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li><li>Opportunity to work on prestigious construction projects.</li><li>Professional development and career growth opportunities.</li><li>Collaborative and performance-driven work environment.</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering?
