 About Your Team
 
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll report to the
 
 Section Manager
 
 and lead teams of Senior Foremen, Foremen, and labour across various structural disciplines. You&rsquo;ll work closely with planning, procurement, safety, and QA/QC teams to ensure seamless execution across all phases of work.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Your Role
 
 
 
 As a General Foreman, you will:

 Lead and support Foremen in managing labour and tradesmen across all structural work fronts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interpret structural drawings and ensure accurate site setup and execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan resources effectively and manage site access, logistics, and emergency readiness.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the timely procurement and correct usage of construction materials and plant.
 </li>
 <li>
 Enforce ALEC&rsquo;s safety policies, ensuring work is carried out using the proper PPE and safety procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage heavy equipment and ensure only qualified operators handle machinery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate across structural teams including carpentry, steel, rebar, blockwork, and concrete.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive productivity initiatives, ensuring teams work at optimal efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead by example, coach site teams, and identify upskilling needs for unskilled labour.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with ISO standards, carry out quality audits, and implement corrective actions.
 </li>

 Support environmental management before, during, and after construction phases.
 </li>

 Oversee the structural handover process with complete documentation and quality verification.
