Job Description 
Role Summary:
As mazeed, GL Accountant, you will support daily accounting operations across UAE and KSA business units (internal function), focusing on accurate transaction recording, reconciliations, and operational finance support. The role is execution-focused and critical to month-end closing and reporting accuracy. This is an individual contributor execution focused role, with clear task ownership under direct supervision.
Daily Accounting Operations:<ul><li>
Record daily accounting transactions for UAE and KSA entities in the ERP system.</li><li>
Post expense entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and adjustments as per SOP.</li><li>
Maintain accurate supporting schedules and documentation.</li></ul>
Reconciliations &amp; Controls:<ul><li>
Perform bank, petty cash, and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>
Investigate discrepancies and support timely resolution with senior team members.</li><li>
Support fixed assets tracking and depreciation entries.</li></ul>
Operational Finance Support:<ul><li>
Assist with payment voucher preparation and supporting documents.</li><li>
Support monthly closing activities under guidance from Chief Accountant / FC.</li><li>
Coordinate with Admin, HR, and Ops teams for expense and payroll-related data.</li></ul>
Compliance &amp; Reporting Support:<ul><li>
Support VAT, payroll, and statutory reporting preparations.</li><li>
Assist in audit and internal review requests by preparing schedules and documents.</li></ul> 
Qualifications 
Education:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li></ul>
