A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you&rsquo;ll mostly be:

Greeting guests warmly and escorting them to their tables in a professional and courteous manner.

Managing reservations, walk-ins, and table allocations to ensure smooth guest flow and optimal seating.

Communicating effectively with the service and kitchen teams to coordinate seating and service timing.

Providing accurate information about restaurant offerings, menus, promotions, and special events.

Monitoring the dining area to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction, addressing queries promptly.

Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards at the entrance and hostess desk.

Handling guest feedback professionally and escalating concerns when required.

Supporting the service team during peak hours to ensure seamless operations.

Ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, and brand service standards at all times.
What we need from you

High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is an advantage.

Previous experience as a Hostess in a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, welcoming demeanor.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Professional appearance and confident guest-facing presence.

Must speak fluent English; additional languages may be preferred.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Main Duties and responsibilities: 
Operational: 
<ul><li>To welcome and receive guests by greeting them as per the standards.</li><li>To ensure proficient and professional food &amp; beverage service to the guests by meeting and also exceeding their expectations.</li><li>Deliver unprecedented personalization. Offer discreet recognition. Connect with guests&rsquo; passions and create memorable experiences.</li><li>Maintain high visibility &lsquo;on the floor&rsquo; and provide assistance to our guests in a pro-active way</li><li>Liaise and communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless transfer of information takes place</li><li>To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend food &amp; beverage combinations and upsell alternatives.</li><li>To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.</li><li>To handle cashiering duties, ensure that restaurant cashiering procedures are strictly adhered to and that the Point of Sale system is updated and operated correctly.</li><li>To ensure that the local occupational safety and health requirements, as well as the company safety and security policies are being adhered to</li><li>To ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times</li><li>To perform opening and closing procedures established by the restaurant.</li><li>To flag and highlight VIP&rsquo;s guests among the venues based on the reservation</li></ul>
Customer Service 
<ul><li>To ensure that all deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.</li><li>To ensure that all associates are familiar with World of Hyatt program and have attended respective training.</li><li>To build and deliver brand-led experiences that will contribute to exceeding hotel NPS and customer services scores.</li><li>To ensure associates are making full use of the Guest Experience Management program (GEM).</li></ul>
Personnel 
<ul><li>Promote a growth mindset culture that encourages personal development.</li><li>Supports colleagues in their professional development goals.</li><li>To ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel&rsquo;s Employee Rules &amp; Regulations.</li><li>To be able to comply with the company&rsquo;s performance management and disciplinary procedure.</li><li>To ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel&rsquo;s policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.</li></ul>
General

Qualifications<div>
An ideal candidate will possess:<ul><li>
Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.</li><li>
Minimum 2 years' work experience in hotel operations.</li><li>
