<div>This position is responsible for providing transportation services for Centra PACE/Ground Transport under the direction of the Transport Supervisor(s). Transportation will be provided to PACE participants and patients to &amp; from Centra facilities. The Driver will be responsible for providing a safe and enriching experience for every individual from door to door. Driver will possess good communication skills. The Driver will preform pre &amp; post vehicle safety inspections, follow scheduled transports, report &amp; handle vehicle maintenance issues and communicate all participant/patient needs to immediate supervisor. 
Must have one year of experience working with the frail &amp; elderly to qualify for this position.</div>
 <div>Preferred Education: High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
Required License: Valid Virginia Driver's License.
Required Certifications:
Required Experience/Skills: Pace Employee's must have o ne year of experience working with a frail and elderly population exhibiting the skills needed to assist geriatric patients with transportation needs. 
Salary Range: $15.90 - $22.26/ Hour</div>
 <div>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Providing exceptional door to door care to all PACE Participants &amp; Centra Patients
</li><li>Communicating all participant/patient changes &amp; needs to direct supervisor
</li><li>Performing pre &amp; post vehicle safety inspections, assuring vehicle is in proper operational condition and reporting any maintenance issues to immediate supervisor
</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of interior &amp; exterior of Centra vehicle
</li><li>Following scheduled transports for PACE participants or patients &amp; other potential trips communicated by direct supervisor
</li><li>Maintain all necessary records/documentation regarding participants/patients &amp; vehicles
</li><li>Communicating frequent changes to direct supervisor
</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.
</li></ul>Other PACE Functions:
<ul><li>Entering safely into participant&rsquo;s homes on a routine basis
</li><li>Participates as an extension of the Transport Supervisor as a member of the interdisciplinary team &amp; participating in participant&rsquo;s care plans
</li><li>Must meet standardized set of competencies for specific position established by Centra PACE and regulatory agencies
</li><li>Delivery of participant medications, medical supplies and other medical necessities</li></ul></div>
