The Master of Public Policy (MPP) program seeks to bring about positive change in public sector governance and public policy design in the State of Qatar and the Arab world by preparing graduates to formulate, analyze, and evaluate public policies on sound scientific foundations. The program aims to foster a culture of evidence-based policy analysis and reform, grounded in the core ethical principles of public service, including equity, effectiveness, diversity, and integrity. In addition, the program equips its students with research and effective communication skills and contributes to the production of policy-oriented knowledge in Arabic and English relevant to the Arab region. 
Job Summary: 
The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Public Policy, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Public Policy or Applied Policy Research. 
Applicants must hold a PhD in Public Policy or a closely related field. Candidates should demonstrate teaching effectiveness and an established or emerging research agenda, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and policy-relevant outputs such as reports or working papers. Experience in policy labs or applied research settings is an advantage, and expertise in AI, machine learning, or advanced quantitative methods for policy analysis and design is highly desirable. 
The selected candidate will be expected to teach at the graduate level, supervise master's and doctoral students, and maintain an active research profile. They will also contribute to the development and activities of the School's Policy Lab, and participate in academic service at the program, school, and institute levels. Additionally, the candidate will engage in collaborative initiatives within the Institute&mdash;including with the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies&mdash;as well as with relevant Qatari institutions and stakeholders, in alignment with DI's mission of public service and policy engagement. 
Main Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Deliver graduate level courses.</li><li>
Supervise master's and doctorate students in the program while actively engaging in the academic life of DI.</li><li>
Publish research in specialized and related fields in leading refereed / peer reviewed journals and/or reputable academic publishing houses.</li><li>
