Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have previously managed a full caseload of motor vehicle negligence claims and/or general liability claims. This candidate will also have managed junior attorneys and/or staff members in their case-related responsibilities.<ul><li>
Draft pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, and other case related documents</li><li>
Communicate with clients, insurance company contacts, and opposing counsel</li><li>
Identify, research, and analyze legal issues and conflicting legal opinions</li><li>
Take and defend depositions, handle arbitrations, and argue motions</li><li>
Attend in-person and virtual court appearances</li><li>
Record and disseminate all information on behalf of the clients</li><li>
Analyze and summarize medical or other case related records and highlight important information</li><li>

Requirements:
<ul><li>6+ years of experience in civil litigation with a specialization in either motor vehicle negligence and/or general liability</li><li>
Experience handling depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other complex assignments</li><li>
Experience in handling a full caseload</li><li>
Experience in managing junior attorneys and/or staff</li><li>
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.</li><li>
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with less experienced attorneys, senior attorneys, partners, staff, clients, opposing counsel, and the court system.</li></ul>
