Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take ownership of features from design through implementation and deployment, contribute to technical decisions, and continuously improve the quality of our code, architecture, and development practices. You will work closely with Product and other engineering teams to turn product requirements into reliable, high-quality software that delivers real value to our customers.

<ul><li>Contribute substantially to the design, implementation and maintenance of efficient, reusable and reliable code to solve a variety of customers' needs while considering existing technology, architecture and processes</li>

<ul><li>7+ years of professional software engineering experience, designing, building, and operating production grade applications and services</li>
<li>Strong experience with Java / Spring Boot and a modern JavaScript / TypeScript framework such as Angular or React</li>
<li>Experience with Kotlin is a plus, but not required</li>
<li>Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including data modelling, query design, and performance optimization</li>
<li>Strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, and client server architectures</li>
<li>Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and release automation</li>
<li>Ability to take ownership of features and technical solutions from architecture and implementation through to production and ongoing operation</li>
<li>Knowledge of Capacitor, Electron, RxDB, or offline capable application development is a plus</li>
