Responsible for monitoring and assuring the Base Life Support subcontractor's compliance with the technical requirements of the subcontract, including providing the Subcontractor with technical direction, which must remain within the scope of the subcontract as it is written. This includes the BLS services and Dumpster subcontracts.

 Inspecting and certifying acceptability of the services rendered throughout the period of performance in terms of quantity, quality, and timeliness as these terms are defined in the subcontract. This will require accessing secure or sensitive areas and locations.

 Reviews and approves reports and all materials provided by the Subcontractor as called for by the contract. Notifies the Vectrus Subcontract Administrator, Quality, and Supply and Services Manager if reports or other items submitted are to be rejected and states the basis for rejection.

 Prepares memoranda for the record covering all meetings/discussions between the Subcontract Technical Monitor and the Subcontractor and forwards copies to the Vectrus Subcontract Administrator, Quality, and Supply and Services Manager. It is critically important to keep them informed of the context of all communications with the Subcontractor to prevent misunderstandings or situations that could affect the contract terms or conditions and become the basis of future claims against Vectrus.

 Advises the Subcontractor that in the event the Subcontractor desires to propose a change, he or she should submit the request in writing to the Vectrus Subcontract Administrator, Quality, and Supply and Services Manager and specifically identify the effect that the proposed change(s) will have on the terms of the contract (technically and/or monetarily).

 Assures that changes in work under the contract are not implemented before written authorization or a contract modification is issued by the Vectrus Subcontract Administrator.  Makes site visits daily, to check the Subcontractor performance to include:

 Information Technology Manager
 
 to lead our IT operations, drive technological innovation, and support the organization&rsquo;s digital transformation goals. The ideal candidate will oversee daily IT functions, manage system infrastructure, ensure data security, and direct a team of skilled IT professionals.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities

 Oversee daily operations of computer systems, hardware, software, telecommunications, and data networks.

 Plan, organize, and direct data processing, telecommunications services, and workflow coordination.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead the design, development, and enhancement of management information systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise, mentor, and evaluate IT Department staff.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop, implement, and continuously update short- and long-term IT strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage acquisition, installation, upgrades, and transitions of IT equipment and systems.
 </li>

 Conduct system studies and oversee programming and procedural development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support department heads in identifying and implementing application solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and manage the IT department budget.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor emerging technologies and recommend improvements or replacements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as System Security Manager, ensuring implementation of robust security protocols.
 </li>
 <li>
 Compile system performance reports and recommend improvement initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain IT policies, standards, procedures, and operational guides.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure quality assurance and high performance across IT services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead IT-related research, including hardware and software evaluations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and follow up on IT department contracts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare internal and external IT reports as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan and ensure efficient server backups and data security.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT solutions align with organizational goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform any additional duties assigned by the Deputy General Manager, Corporate Support.

 Qualifications &amp; Skills
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Relevant IT certifications are preferred (e.g., network, systems, cybersecurity, database).
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 10 years of experience and strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and IT systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as
 
 Visual Basic .NET, Crystal Reports, ASP, HTML, Flash, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and SAP ERP
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong system integration capabilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work under pressure and in rotating shifts (day/night).
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent command of English and Arabic. Kuwaiti nationals are preferred for this role
