 The Center of Astrophysics and Space Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Junior Research Scientist to work with the Mars Research Group to support scientific investigations of the Martian atmosphere and surface using data from the Emirates Mars Mission (EMM) &ldquo;Hope&rdquo; probe. The position contributes to ongoing research, data analysis, simulation efforts, and dissemination of scientific results from Hope observations. The funding for this position is provided by the UAE Space Agency.  Analyze Emirates Mars Mission (Hope) data: Conduct detailed analysis of atmospheric and surface observations collected by the UAE&rsquo;s Hope probe to support scientific goals of understanding Martian atmospheric and surface processes.

 Assist with analysis of additional Mars mission datasets: Examine and interpret complementary data from other Mars missions to strengthen current models and provide comparative insights that enhance research conclusions from Hope observations.

 Develop Machine Learning methods and run numerical simulations on NYUAD&rsquo;s High-Performance Computing (HPC) system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support preparation of scientific manuscripts and presentations: Assist in drafting reports, papers, and conference materials to communicate research findings to the global scientific community.

 A candidate with a Master&rsquo;s degree is preferred; however, the minimum requirement is a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in physics, computer science, or a related discipline.

 The Center for Brain and Health (CBH) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to recruit a Junior Research Scientist to support innovative clinical and translational research on brain health and disease in diverse populations within the UAE and wider MENA region.
 
 
 The successful applicant will play a central role in the day-to-day execution of human-subjects research studies, working within a multidisciplinary team of faculty investigators, research assistants, clinicians, and students. The position involves coordinating clinical and observational research protocols that integrate advanced neuroimaging, neuromonitoring, and behavioural methods, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, participant safety, and high-quality data collection.
 
 
 Key responsibilities include coordinating participant recruitment and workflow (pre-screening, informed consent, scheduling, and follow-up), maintaining regulatory and ethics documentation, liaising with clinical partners and imaging facilities, and overseeing clinical aspects of MRI, EEG, and MEG sessions. The Junior Research Scientist / Clinical Coordinator will also contribute to the development of standard operating procedures, support training of research assistants and students, track study progress and recruitment metrics, and assist with grant applications, ethics submissions, and progress reporting. The role works closely with dedicated neuroimaging and research assistants who focus on technical data acquisition, imaging pipelines, and analysis, while the Clinical Coordinator leads clinical governance and participant-facing workflows.
 
 
 Applicants must hold a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in psychology, neuroscience, biomedical sciences, nursing, or a related field; a Master&rsquo;s degree or clinical qualification (e.g., nursing, allied health, clinical psychology) is strongly preferred. Candidates should have 2&ndash;3 years of experience coordinating human-subjects research or clinical trials, ideally in neurology, psychiatry, or related areas, and demonstrated familiarity with ethical and regulatory requirements for human research. Experience working with patient populations and/or in neuroimaging or neuromodulation environments (MRI, EEG, MEG, TMS) is highly advantageous. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages spoken in the UAE is an asset.

 The MigRems (Migrant Remittances) project in the Division of Social Sciences, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Junior Research Scientist to support the project in its next phase of data collection and analysis.
 
 
 The successful applicant will assist with analysis of existing large-scale survey data the MigRems project has already collected on migrant remittances out of the Gulf. The successful applicant will be expected to conduct interview with migrants and their family members about remittance practices and conflicts, clean and analyze the resulting interview transcripts, and help draft journal articles based on the empirical findings. Finally, the candidate will manage the public dissemination of the MigRems project findings by organizing workshops for migrant workers, meetings with relevant Ministries in the UAE, and producing small guidebooks for migrants. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students.
 
 
 Applicants must have a Master&rsquo;s degree and less than 5 years of research experience, or a Bachelor's degree with any level of experience in a social science field, fluency in English writing and speaking, and training in interview methods and other social science qualitative research methods. Junior Research Scientist in the Center for Cyber Security - Dr. Ozgur Sinanoglu

 The Deep Learning laboratory in the Division of Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a research assistant to work on Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL). The successful applicants will lead the labs efforts in action-less design, continual learning, planning with world models, and contrastive RL. Our laboratory has expertise in deep learning, including deep reinforcement learning, large language models, and the theory of deep learning. The candidate will develop DRL algorithms for online and off-line tasks, for robotic applications and possibly for LLM reasoning applications in the future. The work will involve designing algorithms, running experiments on the HPC, analyzing the results and improving the algorithms. It will also involve extensive literature reviews.
 
 
 Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in computer science, have significant experience with deep learning with PyTorch, and have expertise in reinforcement learning. The applicant should have already completed several major projects in DRL. The applicant should also possess excellent mathematical and English skills. The terms of employment are very competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children.
