The Taiba 2 IPP and Qassim 2 IPP shall comprise all facilities necessary for the generation of power with a total net capacity of 1,980 MW each at Reference Site Conditions. The Initial Commercial Operation Date (ICOD) is 31 May 2026 and Scheduled Project Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) is 31 May 2027. Each Project Company will sell the power capacity and output of the Plant to SPPC under 25-year PPA.
Responsible for leading the full operation and maintenance of a 1,980 MW CCGT power plant (Taiba 2) the Plant Manager will ensure readiness, compliance, staff management, and performance reporting under a 25-year PPA with SPPC, reporting directly to the O&amp;M Board.
