We are excited to add an <b>Art Director</b> to our marketing team! The position will pay between <b>$116,300 - $154,000</b> plus bonus' based on previous relevant experience, educational credentials, and location.</p>
<p><b>
POSITION SUMMARY:</b></p>
<p>
The Art Director is responsible for designing and leading graphic designers through the creative process supporting MIMEDX Marketing and Corporate initiatives; oversees and drives the concept, design and execution of product campaigns, marketing collateral, trade show graphics, digital applications, videos, etc. The Art Director acts as the critical bridge between strategic creative direction and hands-on execution, working closely with the Creative Director to develop leading-edge concepts and translate brand vision into exceptional visual experiences across all channels. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in both digital and traditional design, and strong leadership capabilities.</p>
<p><b>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
</b></p><ul><li>Lead graphic designers, illustrators, animators, video production teams</li>
<li>Create compelling visual assets for digital platforms including websites, mobile applications, social media content, email campaigns, digital advertising, and interactive experiences</li>
<li>Ensure concept/design consistency across initiatives and mediums.</li>
<li>Design traditional marketing materials including print advertisements, brochures, catalogs, packaging, direct mail, trade show graphics, environmental signage, and large-format displays</li>
<li>Develop and maintain brand identity systems, style guides, and design standards to ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints</li>
<li>Produce presentation decks, sales materials, and internal communications that align with brand guidelines</li>
<li>Work well within the brand and creatively explore potential campaigns</li>
<li>Coordinate and prioritize design efforts across campaigns and teams.</li>
<li>Present concept/design decks and storyboards to stakeholders.</li>
<li>Prepare comprehensive production files with accurate specifications for both digital deployment and print vendors</li>
<li>Remain informed of all industry news, creative, and general activity.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Creative Director, designers, writers, other marketing team members, and internal stakeholders to ensure the appropriate concepts, themes, and messages are represented effectively and consistently for the business objective(s) and audience(s).</li>
<li>Ensure assignments adhere to the approved brand and messaging guidelines to maintain our corporate identity.</li>
<li>Prioritize and manage graphic design layouts/project communication requests; understand, communicate, and develop creative solutions that address specific goals, balancing creative expression and business objectives</li>
<li>Coordinate and assign the right graphic design resources to each job and ensure correct input/approvals are received throughout the design process</li>
<li>Engage, empower, and lead team to complete campaign/project requests using best practices for design, concept creation, visual innovation, and execution</li>
<li>Meet with marketing management to proactively plan for future projects and goals</li>
</ul>
<p><b>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
</b></p><ul><li>5+ years of art direction or senior graphic design experience within an internal or external agency.</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.</li>
<li>At least two years of experience leading the design of projects from concept to completion.</li>
<li>Proven track record managing projects from concept through completion across multiple media</li>
<li>Experience presenting creative work to clients or senior stakeholders</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work within established brand guidelines while bringing fresh creative thinking</li>
<li>Background in both digital-first and print production workflows</li>
<li>Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to concept and direct ideas, teams, and final product</li>
</ul>
<p><b>SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
</b></p><ul><li>Excellent grammar, and oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively deal with individuals at all internal and external customers</li>
</ul><ul><li>Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of digital design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar)</li>
<li>Solid understanding of UI/UX principles for web and mobile design</li>
<li>Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics preferred but not required</li>
<li>Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (Lytho, Asana, Monday.com, Slack, etc.)</li>
</ul><ul><li>Organized, flexible, and able to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and respond with a sense of urgency to all inquiries and requests</li>
<li>Ability to make quick, sound decisions based on policy, past practices, and experience</li>
<li>Strong project management skills to direct resources and set priorities</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and management skills</li>
<li>Ability to envision creative ways to leverage digital ideas and technologies.</li>

<li>Able to integrate big ideas through all mediums.</li>
