 We are recruiting for the next Planning Engineer (MEP) to join a dynamic project team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the planning and successful delivery of major construction projects, working alongside experienced professionals on high-value developments.
 
 
 
 
 
 We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional planning and analytical skills, and can confidently manage project schedules from inception through to completion.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules, recovery programmes, and progress updates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor project progress against approved schedules, identifying delays, risks, and critical path activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Produce weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and programme analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise with project managers, design teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure programme objectives are achieved.
 </li>
 <li>
 Carry out critical path and earned value analysis where required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with resource planning, forecasting, and productivity monitoring.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Extension of Time (EOT) claims and delay analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure project planning complies with contractual requirements and project milestones.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Skills &amp; Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Planning Engineer, with significant exposure to MEP construction projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 is essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sound understanding of project planning principles, scheduling techniques, and project controls.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent knowledge of critical path methodology (CPM), resource loading, and programme reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience preparing baseline programmes, revised programmes, and progress reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction contracts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to analyse complex project data and provide practical planning solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
 </li>
 <li>
 GCC or Middle East experience is advantageous but not essential.
 </li>
