Principal Master Planner
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Core Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Review Concept and Detailed Master Plans to ensure compliance with zoning, land use, density controls, and infrastructure coordination.</li><li>

<div>Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Site Senior Planning Engineer for our client Taziz Methanol Project in Abu Dhabi as part of our Project Engineering team within our Oil, Gas &amp; New Energies business.
Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be onshore site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

 <div><ul><li>Develop, maintain, and update detailed EPC project schedules (Level 3 &amp; 4).
</li><li>Prepare integrated master schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
</li><li>Establish Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in coordination with engineering and construction teams.
</li><li>Review and approve contractor baseline schedules.
</li><li>Perform schedule risk analysis and mitigation planning.
</li><li>Monitor project progress and productivity against approved baseline.
</li><li>Conduct critical path analysis and identify potential delays.
</li><li>Review contractor progress reports and validate physical progress.
</li><li>Prepare internal and client progress reports (weekly &amp; monthly).
</li><li>Track key milestones and ensure timely achievement.
</li><li>Perform Extension of Time (EOT) assessments.
</li><li>Conduct delay analysis (Time Impact Analysis, Window Analysis, etc.).
</li><li>Evaluate contractor claims related to time and planning.
</li><li>Provide recommendations on mitigation and recovery plans.
</li><li>Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
</li><li>Participate in progress review meetings with contractors.
</li><li>Coordinate with cost control team for integrated reporting.
</li><li>Ensure alignment with ADNOC project governance procedures.
</li><li>Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.
</li><li>Support quantitative schedule risk assessments.
</li><li>Maintain risk-adjusted schedules when required.</li></ul></div>

Expected:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Chemical).
</li><li>PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
</li><li>Primavera P6 advanced proficiency (mandatory).
</li><li>Minimum 15 years of experience in oil &amp; gas EPC projects.
</li><li>Minimum 5 years in PMC role (preferably in ADNOC group projects).</li></ul></div>
