As our Security Engineer, you make sure our platform, infrastructure and data stay secure as we grow. You identify vulnerabilities before they become problems, and you build the processes and safeguards that keep security top of mind across the entire Product team.

Our Tech Stack.</h3>
The iOS application is built 100% with Swift, with a mix of SwiftUI and UIKit. We use REST APIs to connect to our backend. The CI/CD pipelines run using Bitrise.
Android is built natively with Kotlin. Next to the customer application, we have two internally facing applications. One mobile React Native application and one web-based, built in Typescript and Next.JS.
Our backend stack is heavily based around Python, with our main API written in that language, as well as several microservices. For updating our fleet in real-time, we use a microservice which is written in Rust. This is all hosted and managed in-house, by running two Kubernetes clusters with Helm as our package manager.<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">

Java/Kotlin Internal Tools Developer

 Based in Amsterdam, IMC's Trading Strategy Software Engineers deliver a wide variety of applications, systems and tools, including trading algorithm implementations, options pricing, volatility calculations, simulation frameworks, and data analysis &amp; visualization tools for traders.
 
 
 
 Your Core Responsibilities
 
 
 
 You will work together with traders, researchers, quants, and fellow engineers. You will take ownership of the end-to-end product development process for deliver high-impact projects -from requirements gathering to production deployment. Your goal is to deliver high-performance, reliable software using frequent iterations to get quick feedback and shorten our time-to-market. Key responsibilities include:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Close collaboration with traders to gain a deep understanding of Trading strategies and implement them optimally;
 </li>
 <li>
 Building cutting edge solutions by developing, testing, deploying, tuning, and maintaining a variety of applications, algorithms, new research infrastructures, and automation for Trading Teams;
 </li>
 <li>
 Continuously improving functional and operational sides of Strategy systems to enhance user experience and overall system performance.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Your Skills And Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer with excellent programming abilities;
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, complexity analysis, data structures, memory models, and concurrency models;
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong quantitative and analytical skills and a keen interest in applying them to the Trading field;
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior experience having worked in trading or related industries (HFT, MFT, exchanges, hedge funds etc)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently, analyze business requirements, communicate with stakeholders, take full ownership of the solutions you build and deliver;
 </li>
 <li>
 Highly adaptable and able to thrive in uncertain, rapidly evolving environments;
 </li>
 <li>
 Master&rsquo;s or PhD degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or a related field;
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin) or Python;
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced math and quantitative skills are a plus;
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with and interest in building information-rich user-facing applications, GUIs, UXs is a plus;
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with large-scale data and research pipelines compute clusters is a plus
