Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Inspector (Infra) to join our team! In this role you will get to perform continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.</p><p></p><p>
What You'll Be Doing:</p><ul><li><p>
Ensure that all construction works are performed in strict accordance with the plans and specifications.</p></li><li><p>
Report to the ARE or RE any failure of the Contractor to perform the work as per the drawings and specifications and to provide good workmanship.</p></li><li><p>
Maintain a detailed diary of the day&rsquo;s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labor and equipment used, etc. and sign at the end of each day as directed by the ARE.</p></li><li><p>
Interface with the public and stake holders adjacent to the work to mitigate the construction impacts.</p></li><li><p>
Coordinate with the contractor&rsquo;s site engineers in charge of the work on a daily basis to advise on the proper execution of the work.</p></li><li><p>
Coordinate with the other disciplines inspectors and arrange for sampling and testing of satisfactorily completed work, and quality assurance testing of suspect materials.</p></li><li><p>

Report questionable methods of operation by the Contractor to the ARE or to the RE.</p></li><li><p>

Job Vacancy: Inspector (Civil)</b></div>

We are seeking a qualified and experienced <b>Inspector (Civil)</b> to join our team for utility and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge of Abu Dhabi HSE legislation, codes of practice, and industry best practices.</div>

<div><b>Job Purpose</b></div>
<div>
To supervise and inspect sewerage network works, primarily involving the construction and rehabilitation of new and existing pipelines, manholes, and associated works under TAQA-WS operations, ensuring the Contractor&rsquo;s compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, applicable codes, and Abu Dhabi authority requirements.</div>
<div><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Inspect and supervise the installation of sewerage related work activities.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with TAQA standards, project specifications, and approved method statements.</li>
<li>Issue NCRs for non-conforming works and follow up on corrective actions.</li>
<li>Coordinate with Contractor, QA/QC teams, and Resident Engineer.</li>
<li>Prepare daily inspection reports and site documentation.</li>
<li>Minimum Qualifications</li>
<li>Diploma or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in relevant field.</li>
<li>7&ndash;10 years inspection experience in similar nature of projects.</li>
<li>Prior experience and approval on TAQA project is preferable.</li>
<li>Experience working for an Engineering Consultant is mandatory.</li>
</ul>
<div><b>Additional Requirements</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Strong knowledge of QA/QC inspection procedures and authority approvals.</li>
<li>Familiar with TAQA requirements.</li>
<li>Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.</li>
<li>Able to independently supervise and enforce compliance on site.</li>
</ul>
