 The successful applicant will play a central role in the day-to-day execution of human-subjects research studies, working within a multidisciplinary team of faculty investigators, research assistants, clinicians, and students. The position involves coordinating clinical and observational research protocols that integrate advanced neuroimaging, neuromonitoring, and behavioural methods, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, participant safety, and high-quality data collection.

 Key responsibilities include coordinating participant recruitment and workflow (pre-screening, informed consent, scheduling, and follow-up), maintaining regulatory and ethics documentation, liaising with clinical partners and imaging facilities, and overseeing clinical aspects of MRI, EEG, and MEG sessions. The Junior Research Scientist / Clinical Coordinator will also contribute to the development of standard operating procedures, support training of research assistants and students, track study progress and recruitment metrics, and assist with grant applications, ethics submissions, and progress reporting. The role works closely with dedicated neuroimaging and research assistants who focus on technical data acquisition, imaging pipelines, and analysis, while the Clinical Coordinator leads clinical governance and participant-facing workflows.

 Applicants must hold a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in psychology, neuroscience, biomedical sciences, nursing, or a related field; a Master&rsquo;s degree or clinical qualification (e.g., nursing, allied health, clinical psychology) is strongly preferred. Working closely with Engineering leadership, Procurement, Finance, Security, and external vendors, the team ensures that hotel facilities, systems, inventory, and maintenance programs operate efficiently and effectively. As Engineering Administrative Assistant, you will be the organizational hub of the Engineering department, supporting daily operations through efficient administration, inventory control, vendor coordination, reporting, and financial tracking. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will help ensure the smooth operation of engineering processes, compliance requirements, maintenance programs, and procurement activities. By providing proactive support to the Director of Engineering and the wider team, you will contribute directly to operational efficiency, asset management, and the overall success of the hotel.</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
HOW YOU&rsquo;LL MAKE THE PLACE</b></h2><br>

Coordinate departmental administration, including correspondence, reports, meeting arrangements, presentations, records management, and departmental communications.</li><li>
Manage inventory and procurement processes, including receiving deliveries, verifying invoices, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of materials.</li><li>
Support the Director of Engineering with budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, purchase orders, accrual reporting, and departmental financial tracking.</li><li>
Maintain accurate departmental records, including preventive maintenance schedules, annual leave tracking, duty rosters, banquet event requirements, and operational documentation.</li><li>
Liaise with internal departments, external suppliers, contractors, and service providers to support engineering operations and resolve administrative issues efficiently.</li><li>
Prepare departmental reports, meeting minutes, sustainability and net-zero reporting updates, and performance tracking documentation.</li><li>
Monitor open purchase orders, annual maintenance contracts, cash expenses, and project documentation to ensure compliance with company procedures and deadlines.</li><li>
Support a safe and compliant working environment by following hotel policies, participating in safety initiatives, and assisting with emergency preparedness and departmental compliance requirements.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>

You possess strong administrative and coordination skills, with the ability to prepare reports, manage documentation, and maintain accurate records.</li><li>

You communicate professionally and effectively with colleagues, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>
