 The successful candidate will be accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

 Ensure all equipment, appliances and machinery are checked for valid certifications and operators licenses as applicable

 Selection Criteria

 Diploma / Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in any field from a reputable university.

 Minimum of 5 years health and safety work experience in the service industry, leisure and hospitality sector, or travel and tourism.

As a Senior Officer in Occupational Health &amp; Safety (OHS), you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of health and safety practices across our organization. Reporting to the Manager of Occupational Health &amp; Safety within the Aviation &amp; Aero Engine MRO division, you will be responsible for executing approved OHS procedures, conducting routine safety inspections, assisting in incident reporting, and maintaining compliance records. Your Responsibilities

Who we are looking for 
We seek a dedicated professional with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health &amp; Safety or a related field. Candidates with training or certification in OSHAD, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred. You should have 2 to 3 years of experience in OHS roles, ideally within an aviation or MRO environment, with exposure to audits, inspections, and incident reporting.
Key competencies include a solid understanding of OHS regulations and OSHAD compliance, workplace inspection skills, familiarity with incident investigation support, and knowledge of safety risk assessment methods. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, strong organizational and time management abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are essential for success in this role.</div>

Conduct and co-ordinate regular safety training for WSA staff.</li><li>

Conduct accident and incident investigations for AtkinsR&eacute;alis staff.</li><li>
Compile accident report and incident statistics.</li><li>
Chair weekly safety meetings where required with the Contractor and other parties as necessary.</li><li>
Issue MOM on time (within 48 hours). Report any outstanding and critical safety issues or lack of action by the Contractor in the weekly progress meetings.</li><li>
Prepare and maintain AtkinsR&eacute;alis HSE registers, e.g. training, induction, SEN, inspection reports, accident/Incident, and others as required.</li><li>
Report any accident on site immediately to AtkinsR&eacute;alis UAE Health and Safety Manager and Line Manager.</li><li>
