Department: Finance</p><div>
1. Banking &amp; Treasury Operations<br>
<ul><li>Supervise bank reconciliations and ensure alignment between bank statements and accounting records.</li><li>Review and approve payment vouchers, cheque issuance, and bank transfers.</li><li>Monitor bank balances to ensure availability of funds before executing payments.</li><li>Supervise recording of foreign remittances and ensure proper allocation to marine and owners&rsquo; accounts.</li></ul>
2. Suppliers &amp; Payables<br>
<ul><li>Oversee preparation and review of suppliers&rsquo; account statements.</li><li>Supervise verification of suppliers&rsquo; invoices and ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper approvals.</li><li>Ensure no duplicate, advance, or unauthorized payments are processed.</li><li>Resolve discrepancies in coordination with procurement and operations departments.</li></ul>
3. Customers &amp; Advances<br>
<ul><li>Supervise customer custody (advance) reconciliations.</li><li>Ensure timely clearance and accurate allocation of customer advances.</li></ul>
4. Deposits &amp; Bank Guarantees<br>
<ul><li>Supervise preparation and follow-up of fixed deposits and maturity dates.</li><li>Monitor bank guarantees, expiry dates, and timely renewals.</li><li>Maintain proper documentation and records.</li></ul>
5. Systems &amp; Operational Controls<br>
<ul><li>Supervise manual and system-based reviews of transit containers on Hyundai System and IST System.</li><li>Ensure consistency between operational systems and accounting records.</li><li>Support internal and external audits and address audit observations.</li></ul>
6. Supervision &amp; Reporting<br>
<ul><li>Supervise and evaluate accounting staff performance.</li><li>Provide regular financial and treasury reports to the Finance Manager.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>

Knowledge &amp; Skills</b></h2></div></div>
<div><div><div><ul><li>Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles</li><li>In-depth understanding of shipping, logistics, and marine accounting</li><li>Solid knowledge of banking and treasury operations, including reconciliations, payments, deposits, and bank guarantees.</li><li>Good understanding of tax regulations (VAT and withholding tax).</li><li>Knowledge of internal controls, audit requirements, and compliance standards.</li><li>Familiarity with shipping systems.</li><li>Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis.</li><li>Strong reporting and presentation skills for management and board-level communication.</li><li>High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.</li></ul></div></div></div></div>
