<p><b>Job Title: Oracle APEX Developer (Contract &ndash; 1 Year)</b></p><p><b>Location: Muscat (Onsite)</b></p><p><b>Engagement Type: Full-Time Contract (12 Months)</b></p><p><b>Role Overview</b></p><p>The Oracle APEX Developer will be responsible for the <b>design, development, testing, and maintenance</b> of Oracle APEX applications in alignment with defined business and system requirements.</p><p>The role operates within a structured delivery model, working under the guidance of the <b>Solution Architect and Functional Analysts</b> to translate <b>BRDs and SRSs into scalable, intuitive, and compliant solutions</b>, adhering to the organization standards, data governance policies, and security frameworks.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Application Development</b></p><ul><li>Develop interactive <b>APEX pages, forms, reports, dashboards, and workflows</b></li><li>Build intuitive and user-centric interfaces aligned with business processes</li><li>Implement reusable components and modular application structures</li></ul><p><b>Database &amp; Backend Development</b></p><ul><li>Design and develop <b>PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers</b></li><li>Optimize SQL queries and database objects for <b>performance and scalability</b></li><li>Ensure data integrity and adherence to enterprise data models</li></ul><p><b>Integration &amp; Interoperability</b></p><ul><li>Integrate APEX applications with:</li><li><b>REST APIs and web services</b></li><li>External databases and enterprise systems</li><li>Handle data exchange using <b>JSON/XML formats</b></li><li>Support integration with enterprise platforms (HRMS, Finance, etc.)</li></ul><p><b>UI/UX &amp; Responsiveness</b></p><ul><li>Implement <b>responsive APEX designs</b> compatible with desktop and mobile devices</li><li>Apply UI best practices to enhance usability and accessibility</li></ul><p><b>Security, Validation &amp; Controls</b></p><ul><li>Implement <b>data validation, exception handling, and error management</b></li><li>Configure <b>role-based access controls and security policies</b></li><li>Ensure compliance with ministry data governance and security standards</li></ul><p><b>Testing &amp; Quality Assurance</b></p><ul><li>Perform <b>unit testing and peer code reviews</b></li><li>Collaborate with QA teams to resolve <b>functional and integration defects</b></li><li>Ensure quality and stability across releases</li></ul><p><b>Agile Delivery &amp; Collaboration</b></p><ul><li>Participate in:</li><li>Requirement clarification sessions</li><li>Sprint planning and backlog refinement</li><li>Work closely with architects, analysts, testers, and stakeholders</li><li>Provide timely updates and adhere to sprint commitments</li></ul><p><b>Deployment &amp; Knowledge Transfer</b></p><ul><li>Support <b>deployment preparation and release activities</b></li><li>Maintain technical documentation of developed modules</li><li>Contribute to <b>knowledge transfer and handover sessions</b></li></ul><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline</li><li><b>5+ years of Oracle development experience</b></li><li><b>Minimum 3+ years hands-on Oracle APEX experience</b></li><li>Strong expertise in:</li><li>Oracle APEX (latest versions preferred)</li><li>PL/SQL and SQL performance tuning</li><li>Experience in API integration (REST/SOAP)</li><li>Preferably bilingual (English/Arabic)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
