The team is responsible for implementing next generation payment system to support all Venmo transaction traffic. The team drives business critical services with 99.999% availability while maintaining a customer focused approach. The engineer would drive and own mission critical solutions.  Implements tasks within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), receiving structure and oversight from more experienced staff

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

 2+ years of backend development experience. Strong foundation in programming concepts and data structures.

 Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python)
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in backend development using Python frameworks, with experience in technologies such as frameworks like Django and Flask.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of web services and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
 
 
 
 </li>

 Preferred Qualifications

 Experience with large-scale, high-performance systems.
 </li>

 Knowledge of the payment processing industry and relevant regulations.
