 the Strategic Sourcing Manager - India, you will lead the establishment of a new supply base in India for the most strategic component parts that will be supplied into Aggreko&rsquo;s forthcoming manufacturing facility.  Role Overview:
 
 This role requires an experienced leader with a background in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship /performance management and team leadership. You will need to meet the needs of a variety of internal customers across Aggreko&rsquo;s manufacturing and service repair centre locations around the world, acting as the key, strategic points of contact in India.
 
 
 
 What You&rsquo;ll Do
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Establish and manage a team of three Category Leads based in Pune as part of a wider strategic Directs Procurement function.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and negotiate with key, strategic suppliers in-country to establish a new supply base to serve Indian manufacturing and servicing of core product parts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish and manage contractual frameworks with each of the respective suppliers, which may include joint development agreements, as well as supply agreements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and communicate category strategies for the particular sub-categories.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding the business processes and ensuring that demand from global locations is met as and when it is needed by our colleagues responsible for production or service.
 </li>
 <li>
 Benchmarking suppliers to ensure on-going competitiveness for the Aggreko Group. Ensuring all suppliers that Aggreko uses are subject to the formal on-boarding process and where appropriate, subject to Aggreko&rsquo;s supplier performance management program.
 </li>
 <li>
 On-going management of the suppliers in scope and managing the relative supply risks by having alternative sources that can provide leverage over poor or uncompetitive suppliers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of customs regulations, GST framework, import/ export documentation and compliance requirements as per DGFT
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in ethical sourcing standards, aligned with Aggreko&rsquo;s ESG and supplier code of conduct policies.
