Security Analyst

A Security Analyst is responsible for protecting an organization’s computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. They monitor security systems, investigate potential breaches, and help prevent attacks by identifying vulnerabilities and enforcing security policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor networks, servers, and systems for security threats and suspicious activity
• Analyze security alerts and investigate incidents or breaches
• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend fixes or improvements
• Implement and maintain security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits
• Respond to security incidents and help with recovery efforts
• Stay up to date on new cyber threats and security best practices
• Assist with security policies, procedures, and employee awareness training

Required Skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Understanding of networks, operating systems, and system administration
• Ability to analyze logs, alerts, and security data
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Attention to detail
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Python, Bash, etc.) is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹369,663.55 - ₹1,185,298.50 per year
