Senior Accountant - MEP Experience

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, project accounting, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
• Handle project accounting for MEP works, including cost tracking and budget monitoring
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor project costs, variations, and profitability
• Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams for cost control
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT returns
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
• Analyze financial data and provide management with reports and insights
• Monitor and control company expenses and overheads

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in MEP or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or ERP systems)
• Good understanding of UAE VAT laws and compliance
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Experience:

• MEP/Contracting Industry: 4 years (Preferred)
