Senior Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting:Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements, reports, and tax returns.
  • Tally Management:Utilize Tally software for daily accounting tasks, maintaining the general ledger, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Reconciliations:Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations of general ledger accounts to resolve discrepancies and ensure ledger accuracy.
  • Closing Processes:Manage and oversee the month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently.
  • Compliance:Ensure compliance with accounting standards (like GAAP), financial regulations, and tax laws, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) if applicable.
  • Auditing:Coordinate with and support external auditors during financial audits.
  • Financial Planning:Assist with the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and cost analysis.
  • Mentoring:Provide guidance and supervision to junior accounting staff, fostering their development.
  • Financial Analysis:Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management for strategic planning.
  • Process Improvement:Help to develop and implement improved accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven proficiency in accounting software, specifically Tally.
  • Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in financial data analysis and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
