Senior Business Developer

Faisalabad, Pakistan

We are seeking a Senior Business Developer to accelerate our growth on Upwork and beyond. This hybrid role is based in Faisalabad, with flexibility to work remotely for certain tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and driving sales strategies. A key focus will be growing our Upwork presence while also generating leads for our own in-house tools through platforms like Reddit, X (Twitter), and other digital channels.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct daily prospecting on Upwork: search, qualify, and bid using niche-aligned keywords, filters, and follow-ups.
  • Use GigUp (gigup.qoest.com) to streamline bidding and reporting.
  • Maintain a proposal library; craft personalized introductions; manage client communication, negotiations, and follow-ups.
  • Report weekly on bids, responses, interviews, conversions, and revenue.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to scope, estimate, and transition projects smoothly.
  • Ensure compliance with Upwork policies and platform best practices.
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies for our in-house tools (e.g., Reddit, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, communities, partnerships).
  • Contribute to building a scalable and repeatable lead-generation system from scratch.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in Upwork bidding, lead generation, and client acquisition.
  • Strong communication skills with a client-first approach.
  • Analytical mindset for evaluating opportunities and pricing strategies.
  • Self-driven, organized, and results-oriented.
  • Bonus: experience using GigUp or similar automation tools.
  • Preferred: knowledge of social media growth, community engagement, and outbound lead-gen tools (LinkedIn outreach, cold email, CRM systems).
