We are seeking an experienced HR Manager – Compliance to manage and ensure 100% statutory compliance across HR operations. The role requires strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, PF, ESIC, payroll coordination, and audits, along with hands-on experience in handling government portals and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws including:
- Shops & Establishment Act / Factories Act
- Industrial Disputes Act
- Contract Labour (R&A) Act
- Payment of Wages, Bonus, Gratuity & Minimum Wages Acts
- Handle PF, ESIC, LWF, PT registration, monthly returns, payments, and reconciliations
- Manage payroll compliance in coordination with accounts/payroll teams
- Prepare, maintain, and update statutory registers, records, and returns
- Handle labour inspections, audits, and notices
- Ensure compliance for contract labour & vendor statutory documents
- Manage employee exit compliance including F&F settlement, gratuity, PF/ESIC closure
- Liaise with labour departments, consultants, and statutory authorities
- Track amendments and updates in labour laws and ensure timely implementation
- Support management with compliance reports and risk mitigation
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC, labour laws, and payroll compliance
- Hands-on experience with EPFO, ESIC, Shram Suvidha, CLRA portals
- Experience handling labour inspectors and statutory audits
- Good understanding of HR policies, disciplinary procedures, and documentation
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS tools
Qualification:
- Graduate / Post Graduate (HR / Labour Law preferred)
- Certification or diploma in Labour Laws / HR Compliance is an added advantage
Experience:
- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in HR compliance & statutory functions
- Experience in multi-location or contractor-based workforce preferred
