Senior Consultant Accounting (Fixed Assets)

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Role Purpose.

To manage and oversee all accounting operations related to fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliations. The role ensures accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and alignment with internal policies while providing insights for financial planning and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Fixed Assets Management:

  • Maintain and update the fixed assets register in compliance with company policies and IFRS standards.
  • Supervise the capitalization of assets, tagging, transfers, revaluation, impairment, and disposals.
  • Calculate, review, and post monthly depreciation and amortization entries.
  • Ensure proper classification of fixed assets in line with accounting standards.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with respect to all equipment assets.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed assets reports for management.
  • Support statutory, internal, and external audits with required schedules and reconciliations.
  • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Process Improvement & Controls:

  • Develop, review, and enhance fixed asset accounting policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in fixed asset tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and project teams to ensure proper asset accounting.

Preferred Knowledge / Skills:

· Strong understanding of standard fixed asset lifecycle management.

· Advanced MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Preferred Education /Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. (Master’s / Professional qualification like ACCA, CMA & CPA preferred.

Experience Required:

3–5 years of hands-on experience specifically in fixed assets accounting.
