Senior Design Architect Engineer

Job Summary:

EGEC Qatar is seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Senior Architect Design Engineer to join our growing on-site team. The selected candidate will lead architectural design development for diverse projects and ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of creativity, coordination, and compliance with local and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage architectural design stages from concept through detailed design and IFC.
• Develop creative, functional, and code-compliant architectural solutions.
• Supervise architectural production including drawings, material selections, and coordination with other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with Qatari building codes and relevant international standards.
• Guide junior architects and design support teams.
• Attend and represent the architectural team in client meetings and project workshops.
• Coordinate with engineers and consultants for integrated design delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 15 years of architectural design experience, preferably with engineering consultancy firms.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM applications is mandatory.
• Excellent command of AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, and MS Office Suite.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Previous experience working on Ashghal projects iis a mandatory.
• UPDA certification Grade A is a mandatory.
