Senior Email Marketing Specialist

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Email Marketer to lead our email marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in multiple email marketing platforms, a strong analytical mindset, and a proven track record of driving engagement, conversions, and revenue through strategic campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute end-to-end email marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement
  • Design, build, and optimize email campaigns, flows, and automation sequences
  • Create compelling email copy and coordinate with design teams for visually appealing layouts
  • Segment audiences and personalize campaigns to maximize performance
  • Manage and optimize email deliverability, sender reputation, and compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.)
  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, timing, and CTAs to improve campaign performance
  • Monitor KPIs such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI
  • Integrate email marketing efforts with broader digital marketing strategies
  • Maintain and improve database health, list hygiene, and audience segmentation
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align messaging and campaigns

Platform & Tools Expertise:

The candidate must have hands-on experience and advanced proficiency in:

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in email marketing or lifecycle marketing
  • Proven success in managing high-performing email campaigns
  • Strong command of English (written and verbal)
  • Deep understanding of email marketing best practices, automation, and customer journeys
  • Experience working with international audiences or clients
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email customization is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Knowledge of marketing automation workflows and lead nurturing
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and retention strategies
  • Basic knowledge of integrations, APIs, and data syncing between tools
