Job Description
Project management:
To ensure field briefings on the study approach, questionnaire & quality checks is done along with the senior project manager
To ensure regular status updates of the study are shared both internally and with client
To monitor the progress of the fieldwork along with the quality checks
To display a keen acumen to anticipate possible issues and roadblocks that may impede the successful handling of a project and to proactively take the required action towards managing the same, in consultation with the line manager/ keeping the line manager updated
Client relationship:
To manage and conduct all client interaction in a professional, proactive manner and in line with NIQ values
To manage all project related communication with the client including regular project updates, field work scheduling, updates on/ enabling the client to understand the research instruments, communicating concerns/ issues faced at any stage of the research project
To independently work on development of the project related documents – questionnaires, field brief notes, scripting notes and analysis plans
To attend and provide support for client accompaniments of fieldwork
To interpret data from different methodologies in a manner which is structured, well organized and thorough/ detailed), towards enabling a meaningful analysis and reporting of findings
To provide support in the writing of project presentations/ reports by means of a thorough and well constructed first draft
To demonstrate keen acumen towards generating research insights and recommendations that indicates knowledge of the consumer/ category/ market context as well as the client business world in keeping with the project objectives as well as the client business objectives
To demonstrate a willingness to learn/ a thorough understanding of the client business and market
To support and if require conduct standup presentations for the client
To participate in client and internal meetings and discussions in a manner which is relevant and contributory
People relationships:
To demonstrate team spirit – willingness to help out on individual project tasks (if required), flexibility to work across clients and teams
To actively listen and communicate openly and with clarity to client and internal teams in both verbal and written communication
To clearly and persuasively communicate research issues, internally and externally
To demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in dealing with difficult / complex / tricky situations of project execution
Thought leadership:
To be involved in and contribute to company leanings
To attend and actively participate/ contribute in all relevant company learning sessions and initiatives
Qualifications
2 to 5 years experience within the relevant Market Research Field (Quantitative Research)
First rate analytical skills with strong strategic thinking – with a curiosity to seek answers from data
Ideally experience working with FMCG or Retail Clients
Ideally worked on Product Testing, U&As and BHTs
Keen attention to detail at all stages of project management
Good presentation skills
Excellent communication skills – professional and precise
Proficient user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Flexible approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines
Good planning and organizational skills
Creative and innovative approach
Willing to adapt change and improvement
