Role Purpose
The Senior Analyst is the handson delivery engine of the Process Reengineering team. They execute diagnostics, build process maps, run data analysis, prepare business cases, support design and piloting of solutions, and coordinate testing and cutover activities. They maintain trackers and dashboards, keep SOPs and control plans up to date, and ensure changes are implemented in a controlled, wellcommunicated manner with clear owners and timelines. This role partners closely with Record to Report SMEs, AP/AR/Expenses SMEs and Technology/ERP teams to turn improvement opportunities into measurable outcomes.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Workflow Execution & Daily Coordination
  • Own daytoday delivery tasks across assigned initiatives; manage personal work queue, meet milestones and flag risks early.
  • Participate in daily huddles with the Assistant Manager to align priorities and surface impediments.
2. Diagnostics & Analysis
  • Build currentstate views (SIPOC, swimlane maps, valuestream maps) and capture pain points, handoffs and control steps.
  • Extract and analyse data (e.g., cycle time, touchless rate, rework, aging/exception drivers, backlog) using Excel/Power BI; produce clear insights and hypotheses.
  • Support rootcause analysis (Pareto, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and quantify opportunity sizing for business cases.
3. Solution Design & Documentation
  • Contribute to solution options (eliminate, simplify, standardise, automate) with clear pros/cons and impact.
  • Draft/update SOPs, work instructions, control steps and training materials aligned to target design.
4. Testing, Cutover & Hypercare Support
  • Prepare test scenarios and data; execute SIT/UAT, log defects, retest fixes and evidence outcomes.
  • Support cutover planning (runbooks, checklists, comms) and provide hypercare monitoring with rapid issue triage.
5. MI, Reporting & Benefits Tracking
  • Maintain initiative trackers, RAID logs, and benefits baselines vs. targets; keep dashboards current and accurate.
  • Produce concise weekly updates (status, risks, decisions required) for review by management.
6. Risk, Controls & Compliance
  • Perform control impact assessments under guidance; ensure control plans and attestations are updated postchange.
  • Maintain highquality evidence for audit (design docs, test results, approvals, training proof).
7. Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as firstline contact for Core Finance SMEs and Technology/ERP counterparts on assigned work items.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, ensuring stakeholders understand timelines, actions and outcomes.
8. Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Management
  • Spot recurring failure demand and propose pragmatic fixes; capture lessons learned and feed them into playbooks.
  • Keep knowledge bases, SOPs and onboarding materials current; support crosstraining within the squad.

Skills & Experience
Technical
  • 3–6 years’ experience in Finance Operations/Shared Services or process improvement, ideally with exposure to Record to Report, Cost Reporting, AP, AR and T&E.
  • Working knowledge of Lean/Lean Six Sigma tools (process mapping, SIPOC, 5 Whys, Pareto; basic statistics). Green Belt desirable (or willingness to certify).
  • Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, basic modelling); exposure to Power BI/Tableau preferred.
  • ERP literacy (Oracle Fusion) and familiarity with workflow/RPA and testing disciplines (SIT/UAT).
  • Good awareness of controls, risk and audit expectations; disciplined documentation practices.
