Senior IT & System Administrator

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Senior IT & System Administrator to manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, operating systems, security tools, and enterprise network environments.

This role requires strong expertise in domain administration, system hardening, group policy management, security tool deployment, and corporate WiFi/network management. The ideal candidate must be capable of independently managing day-to-day IT operations while ensuring system stability, performance, and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Active Directory & Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory (users, groups, OU structure, permissions).
  • Design, implement, and manage Group Policies (GPO).
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Manage hybrid identity integration and Azure AD synchronization.
  • Implement and maintain RBAC, MFA, and identity security controls.

Systems & OS Administration

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Windows client operating systems.
  • Perform OS deployment, imaging, and patch management.
  • Implement server and endpoint hardening best practices.
  • Manage file servers, print servers, and shared resources.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.

Security Tools Deployment & Management

  • Install, configure, and manage security tools such as:
  • SIEM platforms
  • EDR/XDR solutions
  • DLP systems
  • Email security gateways
  • Vulnerability management tools
  • Monitor security alerts and coordinate remediation.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and support remediation efforts.
  • Maintain endpoint protection and device compliance policies.

Network & WiFi Management

  • Manage company LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Configure and maintain enterprise WiFi access points and controllers.
  • Implement network segmentation and VLAN configuration.
  • Manage firewalls, VPN access, and network security policies.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.

IT Operations & Support

  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support.
  • Maintain IT documentation, configurations, and change records.
  • Ensure backup systems are properly configured and tested.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Support internal audits and compliance requirements.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and system administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience deploying and managing enterprise security tools.
  • Experience managing enterprise WiFi and network infrastructure.
  • Experience in server and endpoint hardening.

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Microsoft 365 Administrator
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CompTIA Network+
  • ITIL Foundation (preferred)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
