Qualification: CIMA / ACCA (CIMA Preferred)
Experience: 8+ years in Finance & Accounts with at least 3 years in a managerial role
Job Purpose:
To lead the Accounts & Finance back-office operations by ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, cost control, and effective support for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day back-office finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business growth and cost optimization.
- Supervise tax compliance (direct & indirect), regulatory filings, and liaise with auditors and external consultants.
- Implement strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate governance.
- Support treasury functions including cash flow management, banking relationships, and foreign remittances.
- Provide financial insights and reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring capability development and performance management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and corporate finance.
- Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent command of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks or equivalent).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Leadership qualities with proven ability to manage and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualification & Experience:
- CIMA qualified (ACCA will be considered).
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a multinational or large corporate back-office environment.
- Prior experience in shared services, BPO, or financial outsourcing setup will be an added advantage.
